Standalone ECU Tuning
Your build deserves more than a generic map. At ASD Tuning we don’t just tune – we engineer performance that lives beyond the dyno graph. Road-proven. Track-ready. Fully tailored.
What Sets ASD Tuning Apart?
We offer a full-service approach to standalone ECU tuning — from ECU supply and wiring integration to calibration and ongoing support. Whether you’re building a fast road car, weekend track toy, or full competition-spec setup, we tailor the process to match your exact goals.
As official MaxxECU dealers, we’re committed to offering the best tuning and support experience in the UK. We also flash and integrate 8HP gearboxes to work seamlessly with MaxxECU systems, and we support xHP where needed.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all maps or rushed dyno days. While dyno time helps us dial in performance, proper calibration comes from real-world data. That’s why we offer follow-up refinement based on road and track feedback — not just numbers on a screen. Our support doesn’t end when the session’s over.
Types of ECU Tuning We Offer
These aren’t fixed-price packages — they’re a transparent breakdown of the key stages we typically go through during standalone ECU tuning. We’ve included this to give you insight into the depth of our process and how our work goes far beyond a one-and-done dyno session. Every build is different, and every tune is fully customised to meet it.Please note: this is a guideline only. We’re flexible, and we often adapt or combine elements depending on your vehicle’s needs and goals.

Our Work in Action

Common Questions
Do I need a dyno session for standalone ECU tuning?
Not always. We often tune cars with road sessions, which provide real-world data. However, dyno sessions are available and recommended for power runs.
What ECUs do you support?
We mostly specialise in MaxxECU, however, we work with numerous different ecu brands in the past such as ECU Master, Link etc.
Can you support me remotely after the tune?
Yes! We offer remote log review, fine-tuning, and even remote updates post-install.
Is this suitable for daily drivers or only race cars?
Both. We tailor tuning for your goals, whether that’s daily driveability or competitive track use.
Do you offer CANBus decoding or integration?
We currently offer basic CANBus setup for supported ECUs and are expanding our capabilities for more advanced decoding and custom integrations. If you have a specific request, reach out — we’re always open to supporting custom solutions.
