Number of Cylinders?

How many cylinders does your engine have?

Total Number of Injectors?

This field is required.

Enter the total number of injectors, please bare in mind, the MaxxECU Mini & Street only support high impedance injectors by default.
All other ECUs are capable of both.

Ignition / Injection Mode?

This field is required.

Sequential: 1 coil and 1 injector per cylinder.
Wasted Spark: 1 coil per 2 cylinders, 2 injectors per 1 output.

All MaxxECUs are capable of driving 3 high impedance injectors from 1 output, however, it’s advisable to pair.
Please Note: It is heavily advised to pick an ECU where you can wire one injector per output to futureproof your build.

Additional Number of Analog Inputs (0-5v)?

This field is required.

All ECUs come with an inbuilt MAP sensor & dedicated input for 1x Throttle Position, please do not count these in your total as they’ve already been accounted for.
Consider Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure, Shift-Force Sensor as alternatives

Additional Number of Temperature Inputs (built-in 2.5k pullup)?

This field is required.

All ECUs come with dedicated inputs for Coolant & Intake temperature as standard, please do not count these.
Consider Oil Temp, Pre-Intercooler IAT, etc.

Digital Inputs Required?

This field is required.

These are typically switches to GND or Hall Effect Speed Sensors (e.g. clutch switch, launch/brake switches, etc).

VR-Style Inputs Used As Digital?

This field is required.

Some ECUs (Race, H2O, Pro) allow VR sensor inputs to act as digital inputs.
Used for high-speed signals like wheel/driveshaft speed.
Leave as 0 if unsure.

E-Throttle (0/1/2)?

This field is required.

Number of DBW throttle bodies.
Only supported on MaxxECU Sport & above.

Internal Knock Sensor Support??

This field is required.

Used to detect detonation & protect the engine.
Only Race & above support internal knock sensing.

EGT Channels (1–12)?

This field is required.

Number of Exhaust Gas Temperature probes (e.g. 1 per runner, pre/post turbo).

Cam Sensor??

This field is required.

Required for full sequential spark/fuel on most engines.

General Purpose Outputs (Switch to GND)?

This field is required.

Used for fan relays, boost solenoids, fuel pumps, VVT, etc.

General Purpose Outputs (Switch to 12v)?

This field is required.

High-side outputs. Only supported on Race & above.

MDash Support? (Bluetooth)?

This field is required.

Allows use of the MDash app, which provides real-time values and datalogging straight to your Android phone or tablet.

Built-in Wideband Controller (0/1/2)?

This field is required.

Wideband O2 controller channels built into the ECU.

Waterproof??

This field is required.
